Info Post
Doubt is an incredibly thought-provoking movie that reveals the rising tensions in the Catholic Church in the mid 1960's. There are subtle suspicions that may be derived from implications of certain improprieties that may or may not be going on, but then there is doubt. The preceeding sentence has some of the flavor of the movie and will make more sense after you've seen it. This movie shows outstanding performances from Meryl Streep, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams and Viola Davis. I am not normally a fan of Philip Seymour Hoffman but in Doubt he plays the role of priest extremely well. I recommend this provocative and excellent film.
